We’ve finally made it through the winter (we hope!) and it’s time to look forward to another great summer at Jasper Winery. As always, we’re open 7 days a week for your sipping pleasure as well as a few other events to fill up your social calendar. If you’re planning a special dinner party and need wine (or beer!) pairing ideas, we’d love to help. And if you need a place to celebrate a birthday, wedding or even a business event, let us know!
Now that the grapevines are almost ready to begin bud break, we thank you for spending the winter with us – and also a big THANK YOU to you and Cityview for naming us Des Moines’ Best Winery. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Summer Concert Series 2013
Held every Thursday from 6-9pm, enjoy free live music on the lawn. We’ll be serving wine, sangria and Madhouse beer by the glass ($5) as well as grilling up burgers and brats ($6). We’ll have regular appearances by the Chocolaterie Stam gelato cart – yes, you can even have a wine or beer gelato float – as well as the Gusto Pizza truck. We have some chairs and tables but it’s not a bad idea to bring some chairs or blankets as well. As a reminder, all ages are welcome but please leave the pets at home. And since it’s a free event, please celebrate the evenings enjoying our wine and beer (other alcoholic beverages will need to stay at home). Yay for summer!

Join the South Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and all your favorite South Side businesses for a culinary sampling from local businesses as you listen to music from Brian Congdon. Awards will be presented for the Volunteer of the Year, Jerry Bradley, and the Educator of the Year, Mel Pines. Don’t miss out on the Mini iPad raffle and the unique live and silent auction items. A portion of the proceeds goes towards the Chamber’s scholarship fund.

May 11 – A Celebration of Vines and Food, Wine Tourism Day
We all know great wine starts with great grapes. Join us for a special tour of the onsite demonstration vineyard (tours at noon, 2pm and 4pm) to learn how grapes are grown as well as the different techniques used for each grape variety. After the tour, spend a little time at the tasting bar sampling foods we’ve expertly paired with our wines. Then enjoy a glass (or share a bottle!) of your favorite wine on the Jasper Winery patio.
