On May 3, 2016, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59:59pm, our nonprofit is participating in Give Local Des Moines a community-wide event celebrating local nonprofits. During this 24-hour crowd funding event, we are challenging Des Moines residents to join forces. Together we can celebrate the spirit of giving and inspire everyone to give to the nonprofit organizations that make our city stronger and create a thriving community.
Your contribution will help put more kids on the 2016 Music Camp stage!
Join the movement and give where you live! Every dollar donated to the DMMC will help fund our 2016 Summer Music Camps. These camps teach kids confidence and teamwork (important skills needed to play in a band), and introduces them to new friends who share the same passion. Your tax-deductible gift of $50 will pay for one kid to attend camp, $100 will fund an instructor for one day, and a gift of $500 will help rent instruments, microphones, and sound equipment.
