Kids will have lots of room to run around and burn off steam. The Kids Zone will be open from 4pm until 6pm Friday and Noon to 6pm on Saturday. The Sparkle Hoop Dance Group will be teaching Hula Hoop tricks to attendees both young and old.

Children will be able to color their own 80/35 poster art and will be able to make bracelets with beads. These activities are free of charge and children will be able to keep their projects.

Located in the free area of the festival, the 80/35 Nationwide Kids Zone is at the corner of Grand and 13th Street in downtown Des Moines.  Children under 11 will be admitted for free to the paid, gated area of the festival when accompanied by a parent or guardian processing a ticket. Children 11 and older will be charged regular admission.
