The 12th annual Little BIG Fest (LBF) is scheduled for Saturday, November 4th at the Des Moines Social Club Basement and Kum & Go Theatre! LBF is a celebration of local and regional music featuring roots, country, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, jam, world, blues, jazz, and soul genres. Approximately 12 artists will perform and one of these spots will be community-selected through an online survey.

PLEASE NOTE: LBF 2017 will be in support of female-fronted acts including bands led by female-identified musicians, female solo acts, and female/male duos. Please submit only if your project fits into one or more of these categories. Questions? info@desmoinesmc.com

If you’d like to perform at Little BIG Fest, please submit an original song to LBF Director Ben Croghan by emailing benrcroghan@gmail.com. The song must be an MP3 and include the song name and artist name in the file name as follows: SONGNAME_ARTISTNAME.mp3

For LBF 2017, we are striving to increase diversity in our lineup and to be a more grassroots, community-run event. LBF is designed to function as an artist development opportunity in support of Iowa and regional musicians by helping acts build their audience and by increasing exposure across genres.
