Cool Festival Alert!
Seldom Seen Festival is a two-day music, art and literature festival on a 625-acre farmland in Monmouth, IA. The festival aims to create a full sensory experience through a variety of activities, arts, and crafts while encouraging its audience to become a part of the experience.
Seldom Seen takes place on June 28th and 29th and will feature over 30 acts as well as several food and craft vendors. The festival combines local artists such as Fairfield’s dancey electro-pop duo, Trouble Lights and Iowa City’s Lucas Mann, who released his debut book, Class A: Baseball in the Middle of Everywhere, in May with rising national artists, like Madison, Wisconsin’s folk-pop septet, Phox, and Chicago’s Kyle Beachy, who wrote his 2009 debut, The Slide, to positive critical acclaim.
