MR NASTI hits the road with Annalibera today for a three-week tour that ends in a bang at the Maximum Ames Music Festival. If you haven’t seen his act before, make sure to catch Nicholas Naioti in a city near you. His sound is the perfect compliment to Annalibera’s dreamlike vocals and adds a bit of goofy fun with a side of intense lighting effects and sweet dance moves.

Read yesterday’s Q&A with MR NASTI’s tourmate Annalibera here. (Our friends from DEFT are tagging along, too! Make sure and check them out if you haven’t already.)

Q: Describe your sound in three words that begin with an N.
A: I would describe my music as naissant, nesh, and nitid. If I’m not using words that begin with N, I’d call it soul music.

Q: What are you most looking forward to on this tour?
A: There are lots of things I’m really looking forward to on this tour. Firstly, I am SO stoked to play drums in one of my favorite bands, Annalibera every night. Also, I’m playing my first show ever with my Dad’s band in Branson, Missouri, which is my homeland. That will be amazing. My Dad’s in a really sweet three-piece blues band. Also, I’m returning to Nashville, where I lived for seven years, so I’m really excited to see all of my homies back there.

Q: What’s one thing you can’t leave home without?
A: My geysers. I saved up to buy these crazy, crazy machines called THE GEYSERS. They shoot fog at a high velocity and have high-powered LED lights around the nozzle. They’re truly dazzling.

Q: If you could tour with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
A: I really just love touring with my friends. There is nothing better than playing a show every night, seeing new places, meeting amazing people, and witnessing diverse cultures alongside your best friends.

Q: What can concert-goers look forward to with this tour?
A: Concert-goers can rest assured they’ll fully understand the actuality of the universal oneness of mankind, have an opportunity to get sweaty with their friends, and share a really sweet moment with other humans swimming towards the singularity. It’s going to be beautiful. I’m all about making a moment memorable and special.

Q: If you had one sentence to tell music fans why they should come out and see you, what would it be?
A: People should come out and see MR NASTI if they want to believe in themselves, each other, and have an understanding of being present in the moment while feeling the true connection that exists between all people.
