The first tickets for MAMF 2012 will be available on July 12, four days prior to the first lineup announcement on July 16. A limited number of discounted price tickets can be purchased through Midwestix.com before any shows are revealed. According to Festival Co-Director Chris Lyng, “it’s already bigger than last year.”

“It’s almost natural that it will build up, but our focus is also on continuing to grow the festival,” Lyng said. “We’re going for really ambitious acts this year.”

Twenty-three different venues all over Ames hosted the many shows last year, and the festival continues to grow. With a grant from the Ames Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, MAMF 2012 will be more integrated with the community than ever.
