Backstage Ball is the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition’s annual local music awards ceremony and fundraiser. It’s also a party! Join the DMMC to honor this year’s award recipients and to help raise funds to support local music!
Backstage Ball 2014 is on Friday, February 28th at The Kirkwood in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Tickets are available through Midwestix for $75. All proceeds go to support the nonprofit Greater Des Moines Music Coalition.

- Emcee Jay Byers (CEO, Greater Des Moines Partnership and local musician)
- Video presentations recognizing awardees Andrew Smith (Music Fan of the Year), Iowa Concert Photographers, Bonita Crowe & Keith Crowe (The GrapeVine), Hurd Award for Community Support Recipient Art Slusark (Meredith Corp.), and Angela Rauch (Volunteer of the Year and local musician)
