ABOUT 80/35
80/35, presented by U.S. Cellular, will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 6 and 7, 2012 at Western Gateway Park (12th and Locust) in downtown Des Moines. The two-day music festival will feature nearly 40 acts on three stages. More than 30,000 music fans flock to Des Moines each year for 80/35.

In its inaugural year, 2008, 80/35 placed Des Moines solidly on the national music map as a progressive force with headliners The Flaming Lips and The Roots. Iconic acts including Public Enemy, of Montreal, Girl Talk, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Ben Harper, Jakob Dylan, Drive-By Truckers, Broken Social Scene, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Modest Mouse, Spoon and dozens more have rocked the festival.

80/35 is presented by U.S. Cellular and is organized by the volunteers of the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition, a non-profit movement committed to building a stronger and more diverse live music economy. Learn more at http://80-35.com/about/.
