VEISHEA is again seeking the best local and regional talent to compete in the 2010 VEISHEA Battle of the Bands.

A great way to promote your group, the winner will receive a playing slot at the annual Live @ VEISHEA concert!

The process is simple:

You put together a CD of at least 3 songs, fill out the application, and send them in with $10 by Monday, March 1st (where to send them is outlined on the application form).

If your band is selected, you are placed into one of two categories: Finalists or Wildcards.

There are seven bands selected for finalists, and ten selected for wildcards.  The wildcard bands will play in the wildcard event, a two-day (April 14th and 15th) event in the M-Shop.

Three of the bands in the wildcard event will be selected as finalists.

So at the end of it all, there are ten finalists, who all play at the VEISHEA battle of the bands on April 16th.  The winner will then be selected to play in the LIVE @ VEISHEA event the following day.

As I said, applications are due March 1st, so there's not much time left!
